Do you think Lady Gaga took the wrong approach with the Born This Way vid?

Im sure alot of people were anticipating Gaga's new video for Born This Way. I was expecting a wonderful celebration of sexuality and freedom, alot of color, alot of joyous dancing and smiles. Insteead, what we got was some sick and disgusting scary sci-fi peice of junk about "birthing a new race". Is anyone else just as dissapointed in Gaga's video as I am? and I used to be a fan.
