What should you do if your blackberry curves' keyboad wont let you type?

my blackberry curve was in my bag when a can of pepsi max exploded inside i tried to turn it on but it wouldnt come on so i took the battery out, to find that inside had pop in. i let it dry and when i put the battery in it comes up with the reboot screen then i have bbm lock so it comes up for a password and when i try to put the pass word in it dosent type what should i do? i am in the process of trying the rice thing
